Ningyue collects bricks that have been swallowed by the tide and buries them in sugar crystals. Other "treasures" - glass relics - that she collects in the course of her work are also packaged. These relics are then placed in her museum cabinet, where she sorts, codes and assigns them to imagined watersheds and times. This is similar to the atmosphere that has characterised Ningyue's recent explorations of anthropology, archaeology and museology.
